Annotated Bibliography
This culminating project explores my evaluation and research of literature, resulting in an annotated bibliography that demonstrates the relevance and value of my research topic. Beginning with an initial assessment of selected texts, I developed working notes that evolved into an organized annotated bibliography connecting themes across multiple texts.
Using an “anchor text”as a structural foundation, I organized the bibliography around two main themes from the anchor text—Medical Education and Training and Patient Literacy Education. This approach helped maintain focus, develop thematic consistency, and prevent the research scope from becoming too broad or disconnected. The anchor text guided my analysis of literature and strengthened connections among sources, resulting in a cohesive, purposeful research project.

Team Project – Journal Composition
In my Professional Writing course, one of the major projects involved creating a collaborative journal. This group project required comprehensive content planning, visual design, team editing and revision, research and evaluation, and the development of a cohesive final product for publication. The scope of the assignment encouraged each team member to contribute their unique ideas and strengths while uniting around a shared focus on learning and reflection. The result was a thoughtfully designed journal that demonstrated our ability to collaborate effectively and produce professional-quality work “Reflective Writing Practices“.
Technical Editing Project
In the Technical Editing course, one of the culminating projects allowed me to practice and demonstrate how to provide and articulate editorial feedback. Using an existing public website as the medium, I evaluated the content with the audience in mind while communicating technical information. I then provided detailed content and line edits using Microsoft Word’s review tools, including comments and tracked changes.
